These chandeliers, with a metal frame finely covered by a layer of glass and embellished with crystal pendants, quickly became prototypes for an entire genre. Symbolizing power and opulence, these chandeliers soon adorned the halls of Europe’s most prestigious palaces, establishing the Maria Teresa model as a timeless classic in lighting.
