The history of this model
Ancient Venetian mirrors owe their invention to the Venetian Vincenzo Redor, who in the mid-16th century perfected and patented the technique for polishing and leveling glass plates. For the first time, it was possible to create mirrors with perfectly flat and regular surfaces, which, combined with the unique transparency of Murano crystal, allowed for the production of high-quality artifacts.

How is it made?
Every detail and engraving of this Murano mirror are entirely handcrafted by our master glassmakers. The various available colors are achieved using the "in fogo" technique, which involves mixing colored mineral pigments with the vitreous matrix, making the transparent color of the glass vivid and unalterable over time. The variant with 24kt gold leaf further enhances this piece, making it an exceptionally sought-after wall mirror.
